Setting up Microsoft Teams

If your organization uses Microsoft Teams, you can connect it to Intelo so Ivo has context on your Teams messages, channels, and group chats -- giving you the ability to ask Ivo to handle tasks across all your communication tools.

To connect Teams, navigate to Settings, then Integrations, and click "Connect" on the Microsoft Teams card. You will be redirected to Microsoft's authorization page. Sign in with your work or school account and approve the permissions Intelo requests. If your organization requires admin consent for third-party apps, your IT administrator may need to approve the connection first.

Once connected, Intelo syncs your recent Teams activity including direct messages, channel posts in teams you belong to, and group chats. Ivo treats Teams messages the same as Slack and email for prioritization, so important mentions and direct messages surface at the top of your unified Inbox.

You can configure which Teams channels Ivo has access to from Settings, then Integrations, then Microsoft Teams. By default, Ivo can see all channels and chats you participate in. You can exclude high-volume channels or mute specific group chats. Replies sent from Intelo appear in Teams as if you sent them from the Teams app directly.
