Using Ivo for thread tracking

Thread tracking is one of Ivo's most useful features for staying on top of complex conversations. When you are involved in a long email chain, a busy Slack channel, or a cross-platform discussion, Ivo can track the thread and alert you to important developments.

Ivo automatically tracks threads where you are mentioned, threads you have participated in, and threads that Ivo's analysis identifies as relevant to you. You can also manually mark any thread for tracking by clicking the bookmark icon next to it in your Inbox. Tracked threads appear in a dedicated "Tracked" view accessible from the Inbox sidebar.

For each tracked thread, Ivo provides a live summary that updates as new messages arrive. Instead of reading every message in a long thread, you can check the summary to quickly understand what has changed. The summary highlights new action items, decisions made, and questions directed at you.

You can configure thread tracking behavior in Settings, then Ivo, then Thread Tracking. Options include automatic tracking sensitivity (how aggressively Ivo should auto-track threads), notification preferences for tracked thread updates, and summary frequency (real-time, hourly digest, or daily digest). You can untrack any thread at any time by clicking the bookmark icon again.
